A very interesting program of 20th Century American music. The program includes the sextet of Aaron Copland, as well as works by Samuel Barber and Erich Wolfgang Korngold. A special treat will be the West Coast premiere of Marc Blitzstein's monumental Airborne Symphony, conducted by Alasdair Neale.
